Is Agel a Scam Or Legit Opportunity Agel Review

I decided to investigate an opportunity called Agel due to the number of scams running online, this is what I found out…

Agel Enterprises LLC is a supplier of nutritional supplements, using the MLM or multi-level marketing approach to sell to clients in the United States and parts of the world. The term “gelceuticals” was introduced as the company offered supplements suspended in gel form.

Company Background

The company was founded in Provo, Utah in March 2005. The very first products were shipped in May 2005 and are now available in 53 countries. Agel offers 9 gelceuticals that are considered to be nutritional supplements in gel form. Agel has a skin line with a product called “Ageless”, with servings available in 21-gram packets that look like bottles. These are supplements that do not require need water to successfully be consumed.

The 9 products claim to make use of ingredients that focus on certain areas to promote heart condition, minimize joint pain, boost appetite and boost energy. Most of the supplements are both halal and kosher certified, so Jews and Muslims can consume these.

Marketing Scheme

Glen Jensen founded Agel Enterprises LLC and recently joined the World Federation of Direct Selling Associations. If one wants to become a distributor of the products, you have to purchase a Personal Pack or Executive Kit. Also put initial focus on recruiting other people in the lower level to get commissions. The multi-level marketing scheme follows a two-leg commission business model wherein recruitment sales force is divided into a weaker and stronger leg. Commission based on the model is around 10%. The members of the team can get commission from the weaker leg.

There are 4 main products sold by Agel namely Agel Active, Agel Body, Agel Core and Agel Thrive. All these claim better health, performance and increased energy.

This seems to be a legit opportunity..

However, the MAJOR PROBLEM I see is the marketing plan. This company teaches its reps to prospect family & friends, do home parties, buy leads and distribute brochures.. I don’t believe this to be a solid marketing plan. With the Internet, business can be leveraged to reach millions across the globe.
