Review: Agel Enterprises was founded in Provo, Utah in the year 2005 by an entrepreneur, Glen Jensen. Agel claims that they are the world’s first nutritional supplements network marketing company that provides a supplements in a gel form, called gelceuticals. Some critics will argue that Agel was not Agel the first to offer nutritional supplements in a gel form, but they were definitely the first company to bring this nutritional supplement form to market using network marketing.

Agel’s Global Presence

Glen Jensen and other founders created Agel Enterprises after learning about this unique gel-based supplements. The products have been known to enhance your energy levels, promote cardiovascular health, reduce your joint pain, and help with weight loss if taken regularly. The founders have strong background in network marketing. They were once connected with Nu Skin and Neways before starting Agel Enterprises. Currently Agel is in 53 countries and offers their products in halal and kosher forms to cater to the Jewish and Muslim people.

The Agel Compensation Plan

Agel’s compensation is a unique modified binary compensation plan called the “Quadra Plan.” Distributors earn commissions from the two-leg model. Industry veterans believe that the binary plan creates substantial incomes for distributors. To take advantage of the compensation plan and Agel’s gel-based nutritional supplements, You will need to fork-out $1,000 for an Executive Kit or $250 for a Personal Pack to get jumpstart your business.

Agel claims that it is easier to make as much as $20,000 or more in commissions with this modified binary compensation plan. MLM observers and critics will tell you a more realistic income would be between $2,000 and $4,000 per month. I will argue with this because your commissions will depend on you and your team bringing in new distributors and taking the products to market. Trainers will want you to make the dreaded list of your family and friends. I would disagree with this because your friends and family is not your target market.

Other Bonuses

Agel’s opportunity is similar to other network marketing companies that offers their distributors other bonuses and incentives besides the modified compensation plan. Luxury car bonuses, leveraged matching bonuses, team volume commissions, and expense accounts are available for your business builders. Retail sales like any other business is also available to earn extra money. A combination of retail sales and building your sales team will create larger commission checks than doing just one.

Company Provided Training

After you have digested all the initial information that came with your Executive Kit or your Personal Kit, Agel will provide more marketing training for you and your new recruits. The training includes leadership, personal development and motivation. Agel also provides monthly product podcasts to keep you informed with new additional information on activities and products.

A Private Business Review  (PBR) is also scheduled weekly or monthly, to allow individual distributors to develop their teams. Distributors are also asked to participate in Agel Business Brief networks (ABB), where they will participate in product briefings and other personality development seminars. Apart from the trainings and meetings, distributors will also be given the opportunity to attend major company events or fairs, where they could meet with other distributors, as well as new prospects or recruits.

While some critics argue that Agel’s compensation plan is lacking, MLM veterans will agree that the “Quadra Plan” and the unique nutritional supplements the company sells is a viable and profitable business opportunity. Just like any other business, you success is not guaranteed. Agel provides the training and tools for you, but your success will depend your hard work and learning the right strategies to grow your business.
